ITEM – PROJECT NAME: Bijou 1 Waterline Replacement Project
REQUESTED BOARD ACTION: 1) Approve Change Order No. 5 to Vinciguerra
Construction, Inc. in the amount of $7,000; and 2) Authorize the General Manager to
execute Change Order No. 5.
DISCUSSION: Change Order No. 5 corrects an administrative error in which the same
bid item was deleted under both Change Order Nos. 1 and 3, when it should have
been deleted only once. This change order restores the duplicated amount, resulting in
an increase of $7,000 and a revised Bid Schedule A sum of $3,712,489.
