The District is reporting as required by the Wastewater Reclamation Permit (Board Order R6T-2004-0010A3, WDID No. 6A095900700). Wastewater Reclamation Permit (Board Order R6T-2004-0010A1). The effluent met all the requirements set forth in the Board Order for this quarter; there were no violations. Emergency Retention Basin (ERB) No wastewater was pumped to the ERB during this quarter. There was no wastewater remaining in the ERB on March 31, 2016. The ERB was inspected on February 2 and March 29, 2016. The reports are included. Export Pipeline The District's Final effluent export pipeline route was inspected this quarter on February 4, 2016. The report is included Wastewater Reclamation Permit Compliance This monitoring program provides for discontinued surface water monitoring, except SW-01, SW-05, and SW-06, during the months of December, January and February. LRWQCB - Page 2 Operational Problems or Major Maintenance Activities Modifications and operational problems occurring during this quarter are detailed in the section titled Operational Problems and Major Maintenance Activities in this report. Notes Sampling and analysis problems for offsite sample locations are listed in the Sample Comments section. Maintenance Activities January— March 2016 Wastewater Treatment Facilities • The treatment plant experienced higher than typical chlorine demand needed to achieve disinfection. Diagnostic efforts are ongoing. • Rehabilitation work continued at Luther Pass Pump Station and on Primary Clarifier#2 and Aeration Basin #1. Primary #2 and Aeration Basin #1 are expected to be complete and back on-line by May 1st. Wastewater Conveyance System • No major work performed in the sewer collection system except for routine hydro cleaning. • No major modifications were made to the sewer collection system. • No major problems occurred during this time period • No major maintenance activities were performed during this time period: Alpine County Disposal Facilities • Thomas Haen Company (Haen) continued with the construction of the District's Diamond Valley Ranch Irrigation Improvements Project, Phase 1 (DVRIIP). Haen has continued with pipeline installation, poured the slab for the building that will house the hydroelectric generator, and will begin erecting that structure sometime next week. DVRIIP is projected to be completed in the spring of 2017. 4 South Tahoe Public Utility District ERB Inspection Date of Inspection: /‘.2-!G Performed by:-erg_q,zde' Inspection Procedure: I Walk the entire crest of the ERB looking for any problems.Pay particular attention to the condition of the liner.Note the location of any needed repairs on the map on the next page. If the basin is empty and free of snow, walk the entire interior tow checking for liner failures. Scan the entire floor for breaches of any kind.
